by Parish Council on Monday 28 February 2011
A competition was held during the Summer of 2010 for photographs of Pennytown Ponds, to be used in a 2011 Pennytown Ponds calendar.
The first prize for this competition was won by Mr R Jacques, and Mr A Rowe won the 2nd prize. The third prize went to Mrs S Whitehead.
Cheques for £50, £30 and £20 respectively were presented by the Chairman of the Parish Council, Councillor Paul Smith, to the prizewinners at the Parish Hall after the Christmas CarolService on Friday, 10th December, which was held at St. ThomasChurch.
Thanks to all who entered the competition. We still have a few calendars left and these are for sale in the Parish Hall office.
