Hearing Help (AmberValley) provide re-tubing and batteries for hearing aids at 2 clinics per month at Somercotes Parish Hall.  They are held on the 2nd Tuesday of the month from 2 pm to 3 pm, and the 4th Wednesday of the month from 11 amto 12.30 pm.  No appointments are required. 

2010 has brought big changes at Hearing Help (AV) with a new service manager, Mr John O'Brien having been appointed.  Jane and Margaret are still doing sterling jobs, and a new co-ordinator, Ruth Hudson has joined the established team.  Together with the support from their hard working committee, Hearing Help (AV) are developing and improving their services. 

Hearing Help (AV) hold 17 clinics in the AmberValley region and have a comprehensive selection of equipment to help improve the quality of life for hearing impaired people.  All equipment is available on free trial prior to purchase. 

A Social Club is held every 3rd Wednesday of the month at the Hearing Help headquarters - 156 Derby Road, Ripley, from 11.45 am to 2.30 pm. , and is still proving very popular with Jane's quiz as challenging as ever!!  A buffet lunch is provided and new members are always very welcome.  Transport can also be arranged for those who require it for all the activities. 

Gardening Club is held on the 4th Monday of the month from 2 pmto 3.30 pm, and once again, all are welcome to join!
