vCommunity Transport for Town & County (CT4TC) started life over 30 years ago as Amber Valley Community Transport in Ripley, merging with Chesterfield & District Community Transport in 2010 to become CT4TC and now in the process of re-branding to Derbyshire Community Transport.

In April 2018 we became part of HCT Group, a large scale Social Enterprise and a provider of Community Transport services all over the country.

Since October 2017 we have been operating the Derbyshire Connect (Shopping Bus) service on behalf of Derbyshire County Council in the Amber Valley, Chesterfield, North East Derbyshire, Bolsover and Erewash areas.

Derbyshire Connect is a bookable door to door shopping bus service for people who are unable to use conventional buses because of mobility difficulties or because they live in areas with limited bus services.

The Derbyshire Connect service provides a once a week service to a local town centre or supermarket. The day and time of the trip is advised upon registration and booking.

The REALLY good news is this service is completely FREE OF CHARGE for Gold Card (Bus Pass) holders.

Lunch Club outings operate once every 3 weeks and Day Out Trips once a month.
