New GDPR Regulations

You may have heard about the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) which came into effect on the 25 May 2018.
To incorporate these changes, Somercotes Parish Council has a new Privacy Notice. The Notice explains the Council’s policy on Data Protection, how we comply with the new legislation, the way personal information is processed and stored and your rights under the new Act. The Notice can be viewed at the Parish Council office in Somercotes or on the Council’s website: www.somercotesparishcouncil.co.uk
