Healthy eating and behaviors can lead to a long and healthy life.

A 5 week course run by Derbyshire County Council ‘Skills for a Healthy You’ has recently been held in the Village Hall.

Covering topics such as: 5 a day; the traffic light system on food; healthy food options and basic food preparation skills.

Our own Parish Warden Colin Rick has participated in an effort to improve his own eating habits and

lifestyle says “ I have really enjoyed attending and the course has made me think about what makes up a healthy diet.  I have learned new skills in the kitchen preparing healthy food.”
