Carol singing, a fantastic Choir and Band and wonderful readings ... all the ingredients that made our 2016 Christmas Carol Service in St Thomas Parish Church a huge success on Friday 7th December 2016.

The event with an ever increasing audience of over 120 shared refreshments in the Village Hall following the Service.

A Collection of £294 was raised for Councillor Paul Smiths’ (Chairman) chosen Charity:  Derbyshire Air Ambulance.

The Parish Council Members wish to thank all participants; Somercotes Guides, Brownies & Rainbows Choir; Heage Band; Lyn & Sue’s Catering; The Revd. Imogen Black; St Thomas Church Church Wardens and Parish Council Staff for all their hard work  and continued dedication to the event.

And a Huge Thank you to the audience who by their attendance numbers convince the Members that the event should continue to be held.
