Due to request from residents on the South Spires Estate for sports facilities for young people Derbyshire County Council, AV Borough Council, Futures Homescape and the Parish Council (£5k contribution) have provided a new MUGA area.
Cllr Paul Smith (Parish Council Chairman) said, ‘I am highly delighted after calls to support this project the Parish Council has helped provide a new facility that we hope will be enjoyed by many young people on the South Spires Estate.’
