The Parish Council made a Freedom of Information Request to the Environment Agency regarding the Cambro Landfill Site, Lower Somercotes, in the need to promote ‘Openness & Transparency’ it is placing the reply on the website.
The FOI was made in response to the request from the community, at the Annual parish Meeting to make the relevant enquiries and in due course hold meetings with the councils and the Environment Agency regarding the concerns raised on the development of the former landfill sites, in Lower Somercotes.
The Parish Council will endeavour to keep the public updated on any further developments regarding the two former landfill sites known as LS01 & LS41 (Rugby Club Site)
