Green Flag Judging at Pennytown Ponds

The Green Flag Award is the national standard for parks and green spaces in England and Wales. It encourages parks and green spaces to achieve high environmental standards, creating a benchmark of excellence in recreational green areas.
Pennytown Ponds received the Green Flag award for the first time in 2011. Awarded sites can re-apply for judging each year to retain the award and maintain the high standard.
Judging this year was carried out by James Tilford & Matt Akers
Results of the judging is useually publicised late July.
