Oh What A Circus

Mrs Dorothy Hawley of Swanwick has kindly provided this picture of a circus which was held at Somercotes, which she believes was held on the Market Place.
A Somercotes resident told us he can remember the elephants being brought through the village, having been walked from the Railway Station. He thinks it was around 1958.
